Hey all, sorry for the delay, I have been very busy and not able to get time to blog. I have also been so angry at the total lack of spine the Democrats have shown, I just needed a break. I will get back to work soon.

Vitter Spent More Time in Arms of Hookers Than Iraq

Writing by Marq on Friday, 24 of August , 2007 at 11:19 am

Republican hack, and known lover of the prostitutes, Sen. David of Louisiana spent only 10 hours in Iraq, but has come back and said in the 10 hours he could tell the surge is working. Our troops are asked to spend no less than 15 months in Iraq, Vitter, 10 hours, only 1/1092 nd the time our troops are help there. Vitter said, “My bottom line conclusion is that the surge is working very, very well” and then he ran past his awaiting wife, and handed a hot blond $50 and hugged her. He then used the line, “Hey baby, do I get a discount if I am a senator?” and shuffled off.

I am not even sure why he is still in the chamber, he is almost as much an embarrassment as Bush himself is to the GOP. Maybe they keep him around because he knows the best places to score the infidelity!

Bush Goes to Meet with VFW, And Screws The Locals

Writing by Marq on Friday, 24 of August , 2007 at 9:34 am

Powered by Gregarious (42)

You know this would make me so mad that my head would shoot off my neck and kill something. Here is the deal, the “president” went to Kansas City to give a “Speach” to the VFW anual meeting. Our president is so super seacret about his movments, because most Americans can not stand him, that his forward team does not publisize ANYTHING, including the path of his car before it happens. This is what you get when you have a president that fears his own people. Well get this shit. So the city of KC towed away ever car along the path, in the middle of the night, without warning. The cars were parked in front of the homes of the owners. Thwy were towed away under the cover of darkness so that the path for Bush would be cleared…. but get this, the owners of the car were fined $38 for parking on a road declaired (After 12pm) an emergency right of way, and further had to pay $145 to get the car out of the lot!

Way to go dumb ass, now even more people hate you, and this time it is personal.

Local ABC News

Towed and ticketed, several people on the Country Club Plaza are griping about President Bush’s visit to the metro.

The president’s motorcade made many in the metro smile Wednesday, as he was seen breakfasting with dignitaries and made a speech at the VFW convention.

Bill Cary was not among them, but it had nothing to do with politics.

“What angered me was the fact that I didn’t have any notice,” said Cary.

He is angry because at midnight Wednesday morning, the city towed his car because it was parked in front of his Plaza apartment on Roanoke Parkway. The problem was that the president’s motorcade used Roanoke Parkway. As a result, so for security reasons, police made it an emergency no-parking zone and towed several cars overnight – including Bill’s.

“I thought it was stolen,” said Cary.

Wednesday morning, on his way to work, Cary said, he and several other unaware neighbors were forced to pay $145 to retrieve their cars from tow lots.

Adding insult to injury, Cary got a $38 ticket for parking in a no-parking zone.

“We park here everyday,” Cary said. “It would have been easy to put up a notice saying you have 24 hours to remove your vehicle… We had no notice at all. My car was ticketed right after midnight and towed minutes after the ticket was written.”

The city did not return our phone calls seeking comment, Cary said he is hoping in the spirit of the presidential visit the city will offer pardons for parking offenders.

“I would like to have the city reimburse people the towing expense and waive the ticket,” he said.

Again, the city did not return our phone calls therefore it is unclear how many cars were towed.

Even After He Left GOP Protecting Child Perv Mark Foley.

Writing by Marq on Friday, 24 of August , 2007 at 9:19 am

Florida is trying to do an investigation on if Mark Foley, former Republicans child-pervert broke the law. I like the fact that the GOP will protect a man who broke the law, but not our troops.

Planet Out (via Yahoo News)

Florida’s top police agency said Wednesday its investigation into former U.S.Rep. Mark Foley’ lurid Internet communications with teenage boys has been hindered because neither Foley nor the House will let investigators examine his congressional computers.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says it hopes to conclude its investigation next week.

Foley, a Florida Republican, resigned from Congress on Sept. 29 after being confronted with the computer messages he sent to male teenage pages who had worked on Capitol Hill.

“We have requested to review federally owned computers that Mr. Foley used during his time as a representative, but the U.S. House of Representatives . . . cited case law restrictions that prohibited them from releasing those computers,” said Heather Smith, a spokeswoman for the agency.

Smith said that the House claims the computers are considered congressional work papers, and that only Foley can release them for review.

O’Reilly Just Makes Crap Up Again.

Writing by Marq on Friday, 17 of August , 2007 at 11:51 am

Powered by Gregarious (42)

is to credibility what Bush is to smart, but for some reason it does not stop people from giving them a platform to display there ignorance. Last week (Aug 13th) Bill made the assertion that if a candidate had the backing of a Gay Group they would not get elected. He said, “a new poll” — which he said was issued by “Pew Research or something like that” — “says that most Americans won’t vote for you if you get an endorsement by a gay rights group.” was a flat out lie.

News flash Bill, George Bush was backed by the Log Cabin Republicans, a Gay Group!

for America took him to task and found the polls he was refering to, and you know what they said, that Bill O’Reilly is a flat out liar.

He went on TV to spin his way out of his lie… MMA picks it up from here

In fact, an August 6-8 Quinnipiac Poll of voters in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania found that a majority of voters in each state responded that support for a presidential candidate by “gay rights groups” would not affect their level of support for the candidate. While O’Reilly noted that the poll was taken “in a few states,” not nationally as he had earlier suggested, he did not acknowledge that his original assertion that the result applied to a “majority” of respondents was false. Rather, he simply cited the Quinnipiac poll results from Florida — which found that 28 percent of respondents would be “less likely” to support a candidate endorsed by a gay rights group, while 60 percent said it “would make no difference,” and 10 percent said it would make them “more likely” to support such a candidate — and added, “That’s what I was referring to.”

God I Hope Rudy Wins the Republican Nomination

For the love of all good and holy in America I hope that Rudy is the nominee for the , because nothing would make the happier than those crazy freaking religious rights folks having to go to the polls in the vote for three-time divorce, pro abortion, New York lawyer.

Now the candidate wants the media to leave his family alone. He has asked us to ignore the fact that several of his kids not even speak to him, but he is a known adulterer, and other questionable personality flaws that casts serious doubt on his overall judgment.

Oh please for the love of God please elect this person your nominee.

From Reuters

The former mayor of New York conceded there were “complexities” among his relatives but said any troubled relationships were irrelevant to his performance in public life.

“I love my family very, very much, and I would do anything for them,” he said at a town hall meeting. “The best thing I can say is, kind of, to leave my family alone, you know, just like I’ll leave your family alone.

“If you want to judge me or I want to judge you, we’ll judge each other on our public performance. I don’t know your private life. You don’t know my private life,” he said.

Giuliani’s college-age son Andrew has said he and his father are estranged and he decided to spend the summer playing golf rather than campaign for him.

Giuliani’s daughter Caroline, bound for Harvard University this fall, recently posted support for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama on her online MySpace profile, according to reports. The posting has since been withdrawn.

Other media have reported that Giuliani learned of his daughter’s plans to attend Harvard by reading about it in a newspaper.

Giuliani is divorced from their mother, local television personality Donna Hanover, who was his second wife. He and Hanover went through an acrimonious separation after he publicly revealed he was seeing another woman, Judith Nathan, while he was still married. He and Nathan have since married.

WTF - Harry Reid Trusts a Known Liar?

Writing by Marq on Monday, 13 of August , 2007 at 8:17 pm

Powered by Gregarious (42)

No really, what the hell is Harry Reid, the Senate Majority Leader, issue. George Bush and the administration he represents has done nothing but lie to the American people and Congress, so Harry Reid is going to trust them to not recess appoint anyone while the Senate is on vacation?

Roll Call has…

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has quietly shelved plans to hold the Senate in pro forma session this month after the White House agreed to refrain from making any executive appointments during the Senators’ August break.

If Reid is wrong, and Bush appoints anyone or anything, I will call for Reid to resign has his post as Majority Leader. As some had said Harry, if a person tells you he is a liar, believe him!

Bush Opposes Restore Educational Benefits for Vets

Writing by Marq on Thursday, 9 of August , 2007 at 10:07 pm

Powered by Gregarious (42)

Jesus Christ does this son-of-a-bitch have any shame what so ever. The Republicans just flat out hate the troops, they just hate them.

ABC News

The Bush administration opposes a Democratic effort to restore full educational benefits for returning veterans, according to an official’s comments last week.

Senate Democrats, led by Virginia’s Jim Webb, want the government to pay every penny of veterans’ educational costs, from tuition at a public university to books, housing and a monthly stipend.

Such a benefit was a major feature of the historic 1944 G.I. Bill, which put more than eight million U.S. soldiers through college and is now credited by historians as fueling the expansion of America’s middle class in the post-war era.

But in recent years the benefit has dwindled; under the current law, passed in 1985, veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan can expect Uncle Sam to cover only 75 percent of their tuition costs. That’s not enough, say Democrats and veterans’ advocates.

More than 450,000 used the benefit last year, at a cost to taxpayers of $2 billion, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which administers the program. The Democratic proposal would cost an additional $5.4 billion a year, the VA estimates — and that’s too much, it says.

More Great Republican Values… Glenn Murphy Jr.

Writing by Marq on Thursday, 9 of August , 2007 at 4:39 pm

Powered by Gregarious (42)

Glen MurphyAh, Nothing make me more excited to be a blogger than a self-hating queer that turns to the Republican Party for salvation. Glenn Murphy Jr, I assume son of proud father Glenn Murphy Sr, was in the recent elected president of the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF), has been accused of performing an unwanted sex act on another dude while he was asleep. On the now defunked website of the young Murphy you could find pics of him with great GOP “leaders” like, “President” Bush, fat load Denise Hastert, Uber-hack Tony Snow, and much more.

Watching the Watchers has more.

Murphy has since resigned from both his position as County party head and President of the YRNF, claiming in an e-mail that his company has been awarded a contract which stipulates that Murphy not hold any partisan political office. Details of the claim became public by virtue of a copy of the police report being posted on an Indiana political blog, and being given to a local reporter. Although police have not charged Murphy with a crime, they are investigating the report for possible criminal prosecution as criminal deviate conduct, an offense that a local newspaper reports could be a class B felony. This apparently is the second such charge against Murphy. The first was made in 1998 but resulted in no criminal charges. Murphy’s current lawyer has publicly responded, claiming that posting the police report online was unlawful, and that the sex act alleged by the complainant was consensual. If the complaint is true, Murphy is a criminal. Even if not true, Murphy appears to be yet another of the many GOP hypocrites who are and act gay while serving the anti-gay forces that prevail in the Republican party.

My congrats to the Senior Murphy, you have spawned a sex crazed hypocrite at best, and accused rapist at worst. The rest of America wants to exrend a hardy “Thank you,” you have once again shown that solid conservative values can not save you from being a gay…

Bush - No New Taxes, Even if it’s Kilin’ People

Writing by Marq on Thursday, 9 of August , 2007 at 3:53 pm

Powered by Gregarious (42)

The “president” is showing his leadership and clear understanding of the realities that are facing Americans by stating that he will oppose any new taxes to help our aged infrastructure. They have not even fished out all of the dead of the Mississippi yet, and Bush is showing that he really does not give a crap.

From the New York Times (bolds are mine)

President Bush said today that he would be opposed to any steps by Congress to increasing the gasoline tax to raise revenues for national bridge repairs in the wake of last week’s bridge collapse in Minneapolis.

And at his last major news conference before his summer vacation, he lashed out at Democrats in Congress by questioning their priorities and motives on everything from taxes to their accusations of contempt against Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales.

“Before we raise taxes, which could affect economic growth, I would strongly urge the Congress to examine how they set priorities,” Mr. Bush said.

“My suggestion would be that they revisit the process by which they spend gasoline money in the first place,” he added, accusing lawmakers of focusing on their own parochial concerns — or plum projects — above such national concerns as bridge conditions.

Representative Don Young, Republican of Alaska and a member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, has raised the possibility of increasing the gasoline tax as a way to pay for bridge repairs throughout the country in the wake of the Minneapolis bridge collapse, which raised new concerns about potential problems with a number of the nation’s bridges. A plan being considered by the House committee would index the current gasoline tax for inflation, which would result in an increase of roughly 5 cents.

So the idea came from a Republican, and Bush says no. The price of gas is outrages, and if they added more tax it would force people to cut deeper into their already tight budgets, and that might slow down the record profits oil companies are seeing. So Bush’s policy is now on record, he is okay with Americans having a bridge vanish from underneath them, because the oil companies are making billions!

Is the War Being Run My Retards?

Writing by Marq on Monday, 6 of August , 2007 at 3:26 pm

Powered by Gregarious (42)

I am sorry to all the folks out there that are in fact retarded, I mean this figuratively, not literally, well maybe a little literally. The Pentagon has decided almost 5 years after the war in Iraq started that they should start tracking weapons sent to Iraq. According to the U.S. Government Accountability Office tens of thousands of rifles, pistols, helmets, body armor, and other weaponry has vanished into thin air, and the Pentagon can not account for them.

Now this is where I wonder just how stupid the people at the top are in the US. We are suppose to be fighting a bunch of people that do not have uniforms, are civilians, what the hell are we doing arming them? You are telling me that 5 years after this Charlie Foxtrot started you are just now starting to track guns? How many of these unaccounted guns have killed our soldiers?

The Times (UK) is reporting that the numbers are staggering

  • 110,000 rifles
  • 80,000 pistols
  • 135,000 pieces of body armor
  • 115,000 helmets

This just shows the level of incompetance within the leadership of this nation. It saddens me that the military is run by …

VOANews.com

A report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office says tens of thousands of rifles, pistols and other items sent to Iraq are unaccounted for. As VOA’s Al Pessin reports from the Pentagon, officials are promising to keep closer track of weapons sent to Iraq.

The report does not say the missing weapons have gone astray, into the hands of insurgents or onto the open market. Rather, it says that in its haste to provide the material to Iraqi forces in the midst of a war, the U.S. military command in Iraq did not keep close enough track of rifles, pistols, body armor and helmets intended for the Iraqi army and police forces.

Pentagon Spokesman Bryan Whitman spoke about the report on Monday.

“One should not assume that just because you cannot provide a strict audit paper trail that those weapons are necessarily not being used for their intended purposes which is for the Iraqi security forces,” he said.

Whitman says he is not aware of any of the U.S. weapons or other equipment being found in the possession of insurgents or in any of the thousands of insurgent weapons caches coalition and Iraqi forces have found around the country. But Whitman acknowledges, as the department does in a letter at the end of the GAO report, that it needs to improve its inventory system in Iraq.

The Dems Once Again Cave To Bush, Failed America…

Writing by Marq on Saturday, 4 of August , 2007 at 9:36 am

Powered by Gregarious (42)

Once again the Democrats showed they have no balls what-so-ever, and just because George Bush said so, they went ahead and changed the rules so that Bush can spy on Americans with little or NO court oversight. F*ck you Democrats! So what, George would not let you go on vacation so you handed him the right to screw the 4th Amendment, was vacation that important?

From the Washington Post (bolds are mine)

The 60 to 28 vote, which was quickly denounced by civil rights and privacy advocates, came after Democrats in the House failed to win support for more modest changes that would have required closer court supervision of government surveillance. Earlier in the day, President Bush threatened to hold Congress in session into its scheduled summer recess if it did not approve the changes he wanted.

The legislation, which is expected to go before the House today, would expand the government’s authority to intercept without a court order the phone calls and e-mails of people in the United States who are communicating with people overseas.

As currently written, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act already gives U.S. spies broad leeway to monitor the communications of foreign terrorism suspects, but the 30-year-old statute requires a warrant to monitor calls intercepted in the United States, regardless of where the calls begin or end.

Not any more, thanks to the Democrats old George can do what he wants to Americans, without any court looking out for us, all so Democrats could go on vacation? The kicker here is that the bill at least said that the American in question had to be suspected of terrorist links, but they even dropped that language, you can now be spied on without a warrant for anything Bush wants. You have failed the American people (again) Democrats, you have caved to an evil man doing evil things, and you sold Americans out for a vacation 2 times longer than most Americans ever see. For shame…

More Republican, Christian Morals at Work

Writing by Marq on Friday, 3 of August , 2007 at 3:22 pm

No really, if these are the kind of people that the 28% far right are listening to, we should round them up and tag them, so we know where they are.

The minister of a Baptist church has been charged with indecent exposure and driving under the influence, and police officers say he propositioned them.

Tommy Tester, 58, of Bristol, Va., was wearing a skirt when he was arrested last week after allegedly urinating in front of children at a car wash, police said.

Police also said Tester offered to perform oral sex on officers who were sent to the scene.

Authorities identified Tester as the minister of Gospel Baptist Church in Bristol and an employee of Christian radio station WZAP-AM in Bristol.

There was no immediate response Tuesday to calls to the church and Tester’s home.

WZAP issued a statement Monday asking for prayers and saying Tester had been suspended during an investigation.

“We pray this matter can be quickly resolved,” WZAP owner Al Morris said in the statement.
