I think that it is funny that just this weekend on Meet the Press, or some other Sunday talk show I catch there was a Republican talking head going on and on about how great the economy was doing. That the war in Iraq did not matter because the stock market was doing great and uber rich people were getting uber richer.
Yesterday the stock market fell 417 points, ex-Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said that the American economy was heading into a recession for 2007. So the ONE thing the Republicans are trying to hang 2008 on, the one thing that may not have been turned into total shit on their watch is… anyone need more proof that god is not a Republican?
