No really, if these are the kind of people that the 28% far right are listening to, we should round them up and tag them, so we know where they are.
The minister of a Baptist church has been charged with indecent exposure and driving under the influence, and police officers say he propositioned them.
Tommy Tester, 58, of Bristol, Va., was wearing a skirt when he was arrested last week after allegedly urinating in front of children at a car wash, police said.
Police also said Tester offered to perform oral sex on officers who were sent to the scene.
Authorities identified Tester as the minister of Gospel Baptist Church in Bristol and an employee of Christian radio station WZAP-AM in Bristol.
There was no immediate response Tuesday to calls to the church and Tester’s home.
WZAP issued a statement Monday asking for prayers and saying Tester had been suspended during an investigation.
“We pray this matter can be quickly resolved,” WZAP owner Al Morris said in the statement.

WOW, it is a great day to be in the Republican Party, first you have a LA Senator who has had another maddam come out and say he was such a nice guy to the whores. Now you have a Florida GOP Congress who offered to pay an undercover police officer $20 to allow him to perform oral sex.
Florida Rep. Robert “Bob” Allen, R-Merritt Island was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute. according to the Tallahassee Newspaper
According to police, the park was under surveillance today by a detail of undercover Titusville Police officers. Officers noticed Allen acting suspicious as he went in and out of the men’s restroom three times. Minutes later, he solicited an undercover male officer inside the restroom, offering to perform oral sex for $20.

The right wing is working hard to mobilize the lowest form of human the US has to offer, the right wing hate-mongers, and Snopes.com has taken the time to debunk it all. The Email is from the “American Family Association” a group with an bizzar obsession with homosexuals (In fact on their website, the “News” on the front page has 4 of 10 stories about gays), it reads the following…
Be one of one million Americans willing to take a stand in defense of two of our most precious freedoms — freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Here’s why:
- A California lawsuit which is now headed to the U.S. Supreme Court would make the use of the words “natural family,” “marriage” and “union of a man and a woman” a “hate speech” crime in government workplaces. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has already ruled in favor of the plaintiffs.
- CNN and The Washington Post both reported that General Peter Pace, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of staff, was fired because of his publicly expressed moral opposition to homosexual behavior.
- A bill now before Congress (H.R. 1592 / S. 1105) would criminalize negative comments concerning homosexuality, such as calling the practice of homosexuality a sin from the pulpit, a “hate crime” punishable by a hefty fine and time in prison. This dangerous legislation would take away our freedom of speech and our freedom of religion.
Well snopes.com has taken the time to show that every line of this hat-groups email is a lie. Honestly, what should we expect from a “Faith Bases” organization, other than lies. Frankly, Jesus would be disgusted with these people, they will all be in hell.

I post this mainly for the pure sadistic pleasure…
Slate
… Teenagers who identify as “evangelical” or “born again” are highly likely to sound like the girl at the bar; 80 percent think sex should be saved for marriage. But thinking is not the same as doing. Evangelical teens are actually more likely to have lost their virginity than either mainline Protestants or Catholics. They tend to lose their virginity at a slightly younger age—16.3, compared with 16.7 for the other two faiths. And they are much more likely to have had three or more sexual partners by age 17: Regnerus reports that 13.7 percent of evangelicals have, compared with 8.9 percent for mainline Protestants.
I guess this is more proof that the Bush “Don’t Fuck ’till Married” program is throwing good money after bad.

Never before have I been less sad about someone’s death than I am now. Jerry Falwell was a giant load that did nothing but destroy the political dialog in America, he fostered hate and evil, and he did this in the name of Jesus. Now I am not sure what Jesus he was following, but it was not the one of the bible.
My first thought when I heard the news was, “Oh my god, I hope the hooker he fell on is okay” but to my disappointment there is no hooker (or she was able to work herself out from under his massive girth and flee the office before his aids arrived), apparently the gigantic beast dies of heart failure, I thought gluttony was a sin?
Anyway, while most people (the media is all in a tissy) are going to fain sadness of this vile human being, I will not. I would not have mourned for Hitler’s death, nor will I morn for Jerry’s. He was a hate monger that advocated violence on those that did not agree with his very warped version of Christianity. He used the money given to him by dumb-asses to fund a ridiculously lavish lifestyle and push for hate and intolerance.
In short, I would hate to be him right now, because he is about to meet his maker, and I am not sure he will like what he is about to hear. I suspect that the real cause of death is that he has so much hate in his heart it just gave on him.
Now the real story will be how many of the Republicans at tonights debate try to use this to show how far right they are, maybe they will give ol’ Ronny a rest.
You are welcome to leave a comment if you agree, or disagree…

I am not sure how you can be persecuted if you are 80% of the population. I am also not sure why it is that every time some points out that they are being hateful, they retaliate with more hateful acts?

As far as I’m concerned the far left of American politics is dead wrong about any control. I own a gun, I might own more than one, but it’s really none of your business. And that’s my point, I am a law-abiding citizen and responsible gun owner. That being said the NRA cannot be serious with their objection of a bill that would permit the Department of Justice to deny suspected terrorists the ability to buy a gun. This week the Democratically led House of Representatives introduced a bill that would prevent the Attorney General to deny those on the terrorist watch list access to guns. Chris Cox Executive Director of the National Rifle Association said, “would allow arbitrary denial of Second Amendment rights based on mere suspicion of a terrorist threat.”
I appreciate the Second Amendment to our Constitution, and at one point in my life I even appreciated the NRA’s defense of said Second Amendment, but they are really advocating to allow suspected terrorists to mass an armory than they have truly lost a grip on reality.
From the AP
The National Rifle Association is urging the Bush administration to withdraw its support of a bill that would prohibit suspected terrorists from buying firearms. Backed by the Justice Department, the measure would give the attorney general the discretion to block gun sales, licenses or permits to terror suspects.
In a letter this week to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, NRA executive director Chris Cox said the bill, offered last week by Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., “would allow arbitrary denial of Second Amendment rights based on mere ’suspicions’ of a terrorist threat.”
As many of our friends in law enforcement have rightly pointed out, the word ’suspect’ has no legal meaning, particularly when it comes to denying constitutional liberties,” Cox wrote.

I often wonder how insulated from the rest of the world do you have to be, to be as out of touch with Americans as John McCain is. He is one of the last people in the whole freaking world who thinks the Iraq war is not only a good idea, but a great idea, and should be expanded to neighboring countries. This opinion is shared by virtually no one who has any credibility to speak on the issue.
Now the old bastard that's running for president has given us his opinion on gays in the military, and his quote, “intolerable risk”. Again John McCain's opinion runs contrary to just about anyone who has any credibility to speak on the subject. This tottering idiot thinks is okay that the US military has discharged Arabic speaking intelligence officers in a time of war in which the enemy speaks Arabic. Even among John McCain's own party, Republican, there is agreement that the “don't ask, don't tell” is a huge mistake and is costing our military far more than it is gaining.
You know before the Bush administration rally saw America as a beacon of freedom and light, a place that sets the standards for human rights. A place that other countries looked up to as the gold standard for what they would someday become. As your grandmother would say, “you are the Company you keep” John McCain is happy that we are in the same club as Cuba, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Venezuela, Yemen, Syria, and Brazil. John McCain's opinions are the same as some of the most hated nations in American foreign policy. Countries like the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, France, Hungary, Canada, Belgium, Australia, Norway, and even South Africa all allow gays to serve in their military, but that will never be the case in John McCain's America, we will continue to follow in the footsteps of Iran, Cuba, and the other repressive nations.
For the record I do not think that the Democratic Party is really friends of the gay and lesbian community. Most in the Democratic Party talked the talk are rarely have they ever walked the walk, one needs to look no further than the fact that the two the most discriminatory bills on record were signed by Bill Clinton. I believe that the Democratic Party uses the gay and lesbian community for activism and votes, but really could care less.

Now I am from Texas, and it is sad to see what the Right wing has done to this once great state. Now this is what America will look like if we allow the uber-right to keep going. They hate people, period. Read for yourself.
- 49th in per capita tax revenue raised;
- 50th in per capita state spending;
- 47th in average SAT scores;
- 50th in percentage of population over 25 with high school diploma;
- 1st in percentage of uninsured children;
- 1st in percentage of population without health insurance;
- 49th in percentage of women who vote;
- 1st in air pollution emissions;
- 1st in toxic chemicals released into water;
- 1st in cancer-causing carcinogens released into air;
- 44th in home ownership rate;
- 50th in electric bill affordability;
- 1st in number of executions;
- 1st in number of gun shows.
This is what you get when you allow a right-wing closeted fag sells the state to the Christian nutbags, after taking the state over from a coked up moron, he is not “president”.

She was raped, and the crazy jailer refused to administer the Mornging After Pill, you must read this and wonder why there is more and more that hate these damn religious nuts. Sadly this happened in my own home town, Tampa Florida.
From Fox 13 (bolds are mine)
A young woman was walking back to her car after the Gasparilla parade on Saturday when she says a man dragged her behind a building and raped her near the intersection of Howard and Swann.
She managed to get away and called 911. Police took her to the hospital and began a routine rape investigation.
When they started checking the victim’s background, they discovered she had an arrest warrant out for her.
It was from an arrest when the woman was a juvenile and she was accused of not paying restitution. The woman says she was not aware there was a warrant out for her, and her attorney says it appears to be a paperwork error.
“They were more interested in prosecuting her for something that’s a paperwork snafu from four years ago, that was juvenile. They were more interested in working on that than finding an experienced rapist,” stated the victim’s mother.
Still, the woman was put in handcuffs and taken to jail. She was not allowed bond, and the medical staff at the jail refused to give her the Morning After Pill even though it had been prescribed at the hospital.
“The medical supervisor would not allow her to take the pill because she said it was against her, the supervisor’s, religion. So, here we have a medical supervisor imposing her beliefs on a rape victim,” claimed the victim’s attorney Virlyn Moore. “As a human being, how someone could be so violated by this monster and then the system comes along and rapes her again psychologically and emotionally - it’s outrageous and unconscionable.”
“At this point, we’re very concerned about the welfare of this young woman,” said Tampa police spokeswoman Laura McElroy. “There’s a lot of unanswered questions about exactly how this unfolded we are going to get to the bottom of it.”
McElroy says there is a policy in place where anyone who is suspected of a misdemeanor is not taken to jail if they’re the victim of a sex crime.
She says while it’s nearly impossible to draw up a policy that addresses every situation, this may be a case where department policy should be reexamined.
“The system as a whole, that is so broken, it needs to be completely fixed, so broken, so broken that something like this could happen, something like this should never have happened,” said the victim’s mother.
The victim did manage to finally bond out of jail Monday afternoon. She was too emotionally distraught to speak with the media, and FOX 13 does not identify the victims of sexual assault.

This story has no political sting, it is just par for the course for these freaken right-wing wackjobs that the Republican love. In the "I can not make this shit up if I tried" file…
From Associated Press (bolds are mine)
A prominent public health expert who is a top adviser to federal health agencies was arrested on suspicion of public indecency in an airport men's room.
Dr. Hugh H. Tilson, 67, was arrested Jan. 16 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after a plainclothes police officer said he saw Tilson masturbating at a urinal while watching other men urinate.
Tilson, a part-time faculty member at the University of North Carolina's School of Public Health, has advised the government and industry on health issues and co-authored an influential 1988 report on the future of public health in the U.S.
Tilson recently co-chaired a task force advising the Atlanta-based federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on setting agency priorities and goals. He was visiting Atlanta last week for a senior leadership retreat with CDC Director Julie Gerberding and others.

John McCain pissed that the right-win nut bags dont like him. Many real Americans would rejoice knowing that the crackpots like James Dobson do not care for him, but not McCain, he is disappointed, and is looking for a way to get back in Dobsons good graces (try your knees John).
Keep in mind folks, John McCain is so out of touch with American people that he thinks George Bush is doing a great job, and he is going to ride that Pro Bush wave right into the White House. He is one of the only people in America who things the Bush Iraq escalation is a great idea, this man, John McCain, is truly out of touch with America.
From ABC News
Sen. John McCain said Tuesday he hopes to patch things up with conservative Christian leader James Dobson, who recently said he wouldn't support the Republican's presidential bid under any circumstances.
In a radio interview with KCBI, a Dallas Christian station, Dobson argued that McCain didn't support traditional marriage values and complained that the campaign finance legislation he co-authored hurt Christian broadcasters.
"Speaking as a private individual, I would not vote for John McCain under any circumstances," Dobson said on KCBI.

I love it when right-wing Christo-Nazis hate-mongers get caught saying stupid shit, showing the world that they are nothing more than misguided morons. Well the great state of North Carolina gave one such moron, his name Rep. Robin Hayes and what did he say, Stability in Iraq ultimately depends on spreading the message of Jesus Christ, the message of peace on earth, good will towards men. Everything depends on everyone learning about the birth of the Savior. He goes on to say, Everything depends on everyone learning about the birth of the savior
You can read it here.
Yes this guy said that in order to win in Iraq, we have to convert the Iraqis, who did nothing to us I remind you, to Christianity. We attack a nation that did nothing to us, and we need to convert them?
But it gets better, in true whack-job style, it is not his statements that are egregious it is the evil bloggers for pointing it out. His spokesman, Carolyn Hern that while she did not attend the speech, she has no reason to doubt what Hayes' says. She blamed the evil Democrats for taking them out of context. Read it again, and try to take it out of context?
"It's interesting how these bloggers can distort the news," Hern said.
Here is one of the evil bloggers post on it, how dare he point out that Hayes is a moron! You can also see it in ThinkProgress' "Think Fast"

At What Point is the Radical-Right Going to Call a Truce on the "War on Gays"
Every time we turn around we are seeing more and more radical-right-wing hate groups (Some call them Mega-Churches) having to scramble because the grand wizard of the group is a raging fag. Scientist have shown that in individuals, those that showed violence towards gays were more likely to be gay
Clearly it is true. So I say to you hate groups. Leave us alone, and we will stop outing your gay leaders.
From the Aspen Daily
">This week it was disclosed that the Rev. Paul Barnes, head of a suburban Denver megaflock, is homosexual. He resigned after confessing to church colleagues his lifetime attraction to men.
"I have struggled with homosexuality since I was a 5-year-old boy," Barnes told his congregation in a videotaped presentation played Sunday. "I can't tell you the number of nights I have cried myself to sleep, begging God to take this away," the tearful minister said.
Barnes' confession came five weeks after a gay prostitute in Denver disclosed that he had sex-for-money liaisons with Pastor Ted Haggard, a leader of the evangelical movement in the United States and founder of a megachurch in Colorado Springs. He also resigned, although not as readily and willingly as Barnes did last weekend.
One gay-rights leader in Colorado, Michael Brewer, was quoted as saying that Barnes' resignation "is yet another tragedy resulting from fundamentalist religion's inability to accept the reality of sexual orientation. … The hope of many gay and lesbian people is that society will recognize that people are who they are and not attempt to force them into roles that ultimately are destructive."
These guys have all the Jesus they can handle, and they still fall in love with men. Maybe just maybe it is natural. I mean is Haggerd and Barnes can't get the lord to stop them from liking it in the ass, who can? JUST STOP THIS SHIT PEOPLE, DO WHAT JUSUS SAYS, And love those around you, all of them.

I have always asked why it that the right-wing hate groups such as "Focus on the Family", and the "Christian Coalition" refuse to teach the teachings of Jesus, but instead make up an agenda out of whole cloth and force on others as gospel.
Now I an no longer a Christian, my reasons are many, but I was one for years and always struggled to know why a faith would choose to loose its way for money and power. Why we are told clearly to do one thing, and we defiantly do another. That being said, if Christians ever take the time to read the Bible, not just have it interpreted to them they would see that there is an underlining story about Jesus. The Bible shows a track record that can not be ignored. He reached out to the lowest members of society, the poor people, women, tax collectors, lepers, children, and even prostitutes.
Well the leader elect of the Christian Coalition has stepped down before he even starts because Leadership refused to allow him to expand its agenda to include issues such as poverty and the environment. Christian Coalition said that he can not go beyond the hate groups gays and abortion agenda, that there was no place in the Christian Coalition for things Jesus taught about.
Planet Out has the story
The president-elect of the Christian Coalition of America has declined the job, saying the organization wouldn't let him expand its agenda beyond opposing abortion and same-sex marriage.
The Rev. Joel Hunter, who was scheduled to take over the socially conservative group in January from Roberta Combs, said he had hoped to focus on issues such as poverty and the environment.
"These are issues that Jesus would want us to care about," said Hunter, a senior pastor at Northland Church in Longwood, Fla.
Hunter announced his decision not to take the job during an organization board meeting Nov. 21. A statement issued by the group said Hunter left because of "differences in philosophy and vision." Hunter said he was not asked to leave.
"They pretty much said, 'These issues are fine, but they're not our issues, that's not our base,' " Hunter said.
His resignation is the latest setback for the once-powerful group.
I have found little in the Blogoshere on this yet.
